About Us

Welcome to wordletz.com, a free collection of word games, puzzles and solving tools that you can play in any web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. There’s nothing to download and no sign-up needed.

We’re lifelong puzzle fans. We built wordletz.com because we wanted one clean, fast, free place for the word games we love, and for honest helper tools when you’re stuck on a daily puzzle. Everything here is designed to be quick to start and easy to enjoy, whether you have two minutes on a coffee break or a whole lunch hour.

Guides and articles

We also write guides to help you get better at word puzzles, from a brief history of word games to how letter frequency cracks any cipher and how we write a Connected Words grid. You’ll find them all on our Blog.

Word lists

Our games use large English word lists derived from SCOWL, filtered to remove abbreviations and offensive words. If you spot a word that shouldn’t be there, or one that’s missing, please let us know.
